HAVING A GOOD JOB
I’m not one to complain. I can just about see the bright side of, well, most things and situations. For instance, even though I am still trying to find a good-paying job that will make this degree worth all the hard work and sacrifice, I am having a time of it. But, looking on the bright side, I at least have a job that meets my basic needs, food shelter, heat and basic transportation. There’s not much play left of all the extras I may want to partake of, but I am also able to figure out how to get most of what I want. A bargain Hunter, that’s me! I even found a good deal on Lasik. This is something I’ve promised myself I would do after I graduated college. I also found a good deal on a car, which is another thing I promised myself after graduating. The good thing is, so far I am able to do this all by myself, without calling Dad. I’m not saying all this is easy, but I learned from my Dad to budget and to watch every penny I spend. When you earn your own money, it drives home the point of being thifty.
